The21st century is the era of knowledge economy, which of main symbol is ITand rapid development of knowledge-based economy; the high-tech industry hasbecome the pillar industry of the era. With the improvement in the level of globalintegration, the trade in high-tech products strongly influences the standard and levelof participation of countries in the international division of labor; it has graduallybecome an important indicator of reflecting economic strength and internationalcompetitiveness of countries or regions. In recent years, in Chinese the high-techindustry develop rapidly and the trade high-tech products grow constantly, whichincrease the pulling power of economic growth. However, because the high-techindustry in China started late, the level of science and technology has lagged behindthe major Western developed countries, and the international competitiveness ofhigh-tech products is also weak. Thus there are many problems in the development ofChina’s high-tech industry. In order to solve these problems, China has been takingvarious measures to promote high-tech industries and process of internationalization,so as to enhance the international competitiveness of high-tech products and theoverall level of economy in China.From the angle of the abroad, domestic and Anhui, the essay has acomprehensive discussion on the theory of high-tech products and internationalcompetitiveness; and takes Anhui Province for an example, take statistical data fornearly10years at home and abroad to overview the condition, Features of thehigh-tech products and international competitiveness in Anhui Province. The articlealso selects four indicators of international market share, the revealed comparativeadvantage indices, trade competitiveness index, intra-industry trade indices to have asystemic comparative analysis of international competitiveness of high-tech productsby using the factors of the abroad and domestic.In this paper, the conclusions are as following: Firstly, the international marketshare of high-tech products in Anhui Province is on the rise, but it is still at adisadvantage in the international market. Secondly, the trade competitiveness index ofhigh-tech products in Anhui increases year by year and has a certain degree ofinternational competitiveness, especially in the field of new materials, in which thechange is quite obvious. Thirdly, the industry trade index of high-tech products fall inAnhui, which indicate that the division of labor of high-tech industries is increasingly not obvious, the degree of industrialization become more and more smaller, but stillhas higher intra-industry trade competitiveness. Fourthly, from the view of differentcountries’comparison, the international competitiveness of the high-tech products inAnhui Province has certain advantages; we need to keep on developing to solidachievements. Finally, by taking comparison of different provinces and cities in China,there is a gap in the international competitiveness of the high-tech products of Anhuiand other developed provinces and municipalities; we should accelerate the pace ofdevelopment to catch up with these provinces and cities.Based on the results of the analysis, this paper absorbs development strategies ofworld’s major developed countries, and propose feasible practices andrecommendations in the macro and micro levels. From the macro level, thegovernment level is: l. Keep on the full implementation of the strategy of rejuvenatingtrade with science and technology;2. Formulating policies to improve laws andregulations, Build a sound policy system;3. speeding up scientific and technologicalenterprises "going out" pace;4. guiding and using foreign capital reasonably;5.Creating fine environment for the domestic market. The micro level is also startingfrom the enterprise, it is: l. Combine with produce, study and research of industry toenhance their technological innovation capability;2.Openning up international marketto take a wide road;3.Increasing human capital investment; attracting and cultivatinginnovative talents;4.Carrying out brand strategy and cultivating brand with a marketvalue.
