Since the implementation of reform and opening policy, some Chinese enterprises with enough conditions began to operate direct invest in Mongolia market. Because of the nature of seeking profit, all of these investment items are profit-aimed. However, these enterprises are faced with operating environment which is totally different to that of domestic market.Firstly, the writer gave a general evaluation of Mongolia’s investment environment. Secondly, the writer discussed of current conditions, effects, problems and risks of Chinese enterprises’ direct investment in Mongolia. Finally, the writer gave improvement measures for them.The conclusions of this paper could be listed as below.Judged from the world scope, the investment environment of Mongolia belongs to the upper level with high development potential. However, Mongolia’s economy scale is a little limited. There are deficiencies in fields such as system, development and human resources.The scale of Chinese enterprises’ direct investment in Mongolia increased year by year. However, the industry distribution is not reasonable enough.Chinese enterprises’ direct investment in Mongolia has a positive impact on Mongolia’s economic growth, including improving the level of balance of payments, updating technology, solving employment problem and so on.There are a series of problems of Chinese enterprises’ direct investment in Mongolia, such as limited investment scale and unreasonable industry distribution, lack of long-term investment strategy, lack of standardized restriction mechanism and risk security mechanism, lack of corresponding talents, negative cultural differences and so on.
