| Housing Problem is among the hottest topics about people’s livelihood in China. As theproject of government-subsidied housing is carried out on a large scale around China,government finance is insufficient to satisfy the huge construction demands. Therefore, it isurgent to explore other financial methods to raise funds so as to facilitate government-subsidiedhousing developed rapidly and soundly.This thesis carried out a preliminary study on financing methods of supportingindemnificatory housing in Jiangmen city. Firstly, the author has reviewed the concept ofindemnificatory housing and theories of financing, sketched the history of indemnificatoryhousing development in China, pointed out the financing needs at present, and studied thefinancing methods commonly adopted, as well as some innovative methods adopted in majorcities. Then, this paper has analyzed the successful financing models in developed countries andareas, such as America, Singapore, HongKong, and etc, which could provide a practical guidefor Chinese indemnificatory housing. Finally, this paper has taken Jiangmen city as a case studyto analyze the current status and underlying problems as well as their causes of developmentand finacing methods, and proposed suggestions to improve the ways of financing in Jiangmenindemnificatory housing. |
