The Evolution Of Industrial Spatial Structure In Shenyang And Its Impact On The Overall Layout

Economic function is one of the main functions of a city. Economic backwardness andweak radiating drive lead to low attractive force, which can attract the areas around the city.As urbanization cannot support economic development of city effectively, the developmentspeed begins to slow down. Enterprises are the carriers of city economy, therefore they are thebest token of city economy. And industrial spatial structure can be characterized by spatialorganization structure of enterprises.This artical make use of some mathematical methods, such as minimum soil, spatialinterpolation method, and gravity model, to analyze the actual state and variation of industrialspatial structure of Shenyang, and the relationship among the subdistricts of Shenyang. Allthese can best express the variation process of enterprises’ spatial organization structure of inShenyang.The main conclusions of this research are as follows:①the spatial range of enterpriseshas already went beyond the spatial extent of urban district in Shenyang, and it still expandstoward west;②the secondary and tertiary industry of Shenyang appear obvious North andSouth division situation, the secondary industry is mainly distributed in West and Northregion of Shenyang, and the tertiary industry is most dispersed in South region;③theagglomeration degree of the secondary industry begins to decrease;④the agglomerationdegree of the tertiary industry in downtown area is not evidently high;⑤the industrialspatial structure in Southeast region develops backward relatively, and the agglomerationdegree is comparatively low.The evolution process of industrial spatial structure in Shenyang lead to the change ofpopulation distribution. There is an increasing number of population, who move to Tiexidistrict. As the tertiary industry is not prosperous in downtown area, it cannot makecontribution to absorbing labor force. The way of spatial expansion has changed fromstanding pancake pattern to composite mode of decentralized association group and shaft beltextension.Finally this artical puts forward three countermeasures to industrial spatial interfaceoptimization. Firstly, building up industrial spatial development coordination committee;Secondly, establishing incentive policies; Thirdly, encouraging industrial enterprises movingfrom downtown area to periphery regions and setting up favoured policies.
