Innovation is the main theme of the progress of the times. It is just like a nation’snutrient, a nation would not stand erectly in the world and keep evergreen without it. Atthe same time, innovation is the secret why an enterprise could survive in thecompetitive environment and keep growing. It goes without saying that enhancing theawareness of innovation as well as improving the technological innovation capabilitymeans a lot to an enterprise. However, the attendant risk can not be ignored and it’s alsounable to escape. As a result, it is an important and urgent task for the enterprise toidentify, analysis as well as prevent these technological innovation risks.Based on this reasoning, this paper launches some study work about technologyinnovation risk identification, assessment and prevention, under the premise of laying asolid foundation about the related theory. Firstly, we must identify the risk factors whichwould affect the enterprise’s technological innovation, sorting to establish a risk indexsystem. Then the paper evaluate the technological innovation risk by using anAHP-multidimensional matter-element model. The traditional AHP method can be usedto ensure the weight of risk indexes according to their importance. In this paper, thematter-element conception coming from Extenics is applied to the process of riskassessment. After establishing multidimensional matter-element models abouttechnology innovation risk and risk level, we can make a quantitative judgment aboutthe enterprise’s technology innovation risk status. The last and most important work isrisk prevention. Based on the overall the paper discusses the risk prevention from amultidimensional perspective. In order to reduce risk and improve the success rate ofinnovation, it is important to build a multidimensional prevention system for enterprisetechnological innovation activities.
