Jiangxi province animal husbandry realized continuous, healthy and quick development, has become the stable agricultural development, prosperity, and promote the rural economy and increasing the income of farmers pillar industry.This thesis arounds the construction of Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone, and under the background of Jiangxi province animal husbandry "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" development, aiming to raise the stock comprehensive production ability, to accelerate the transform of animal husbandry production mode, to increase the income of farmers and farming efficiency, to advance stock raising modernization process, to promote stock raising comprehensive, coordinated, sustainable development. Through investigation and study the development and current situation of animal husbandry in Jiangxi province, using the SWOT analysis method, This thesis analyze the Jiangxi animal husbandry development of the strengths、weaknesses,opportunities and threats, and absorb domestic and external development of animal husbandry industry experience in practice, in view of the actual situation, proposed the current and future period of time with the Jiangxi animal husbandry development train of thought and countermeasure. First, optimize reasonable poultry industry structure; second, construct sustainable development breed aquatics mode; third, increase of animal husbandry science and technology promotion and services; fourth, further development of animal husbandry industry chain; fifth, enhance the degree of organization of farmers; sixth, establish the safety quality of livestock production system.
