In2002, China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC) made the recombination, and Geophysical prospecting company and CNPC Logging were found that year. Logging is one of the most important subjects for CNPC, also it is one of the necessary parts for oil prospecting.With the variation situation for both international and at home, also the regulation in policy for the group,there are many queries for CNPC Logging, because of the imperfection for this recombination. So deeping exploration and implovement are needed in professionalization field. Using the competitive strategy could implove the competitive power for itself also for the whole industry. Concretely, CNPC Logging should pay more attention to research and development of the new equipment, new technology, and implove the technology service, make the competitive strategy in business, market, production organization and equip studying. It is significant for the future of CNPC Logging, also it will make a better foundation for the CNPC.In this study, the key point is study on the establish and implement of the competitive strategy for CNPC Logging after its recombination. Also analysing the external condition and interior resource and capability. What more, making an assessment for the effect of the implement. By means of this, there will be some suggestion for the development of CNPC Logging.Also,it will be a example for other state-owned enterprise of science and technology companies. It makes great contribution to the sustainable development and strategy scheme for CNPC group.
