Nowadays, there are three major kinds of financial institutions in China, which arepolicy financial institutions, commercial financial institutions and cooperation financialinstitutions. It seems that all the three financial institutions could cover different farmers’financial needs. But, the fact is the majority of the rural financial institutions did not playthemselves role very well. It is not good to the development of the national economy andthe construction of new socialist countryside. So, it is a very meaningful topic and also animportant problem intended to be solved to explore how to reform the rural financialsystem. It will be helpful for meeting the needs of the rural areas, especially the farmers’credit needs.The paper analyses Chinese rural financial system reform problem from the farmercredit demand perspective. The influence of farmer credit demand factors is obtained byinvestigation of Shan dong Province farmers’ credit, using the single factor analysis andLogit analysis. After that, the current situation of farmer credit demand is introduced andproblems in the supplying of rural finance are pointed out. On this foundation, it putsforward the reform measures of our country rural financial the policy proposal.
