The Investigation And Analysis Of The Status Of The Protection Of Labor Rights And Interests Of Migrant Workers In Mudanjiang City

As an important force in the balancing of urban and rural development, the rights andinterests of migrant workers were encountered difficulties. It was very important tosolve the problem of safeguard of rights and interests protection of migrant workers,which was not only related to the social justice, social stability and harmoniousdevelopment, and also affect the economic sustainable development. Therefore, it wascurrently a hot issue to study the ways of reason about the infringing of migrantworkers legitimate rights and interests, and explored the social responsibility of thelocal government in the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of migrantworkers.This paper mainly adopts literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, andtypical case investigation methods, to seriously discuss the problem the migrantworkers labor rights protection in Mudanjiang city, and detailed analysissed theproblem in the protection of labor rights, explain the causes of the formation, andpropose the feasible suggestions and countermeasures on the body.This paper first introduces the research background, purpose and significance,domestic research progress as well as the related concepts and theory about theprotection of migrant workers’ labor rights. Secondly, through a questionnaire surveyabout200migrant workers in Mudanjiang city, we analysis the status of the migrantworkers labor rights protection in Mudanjiang. The questionnaire included the basicsituation of migrant workers, employment and structure, labor contract, work time andincome level, labor and social security, educational rights, political rights and socialstatus and rights awareness and other aspects of the investigation.Thirdly, on the basis of the typical case investigation carried out aboutMudanjiang District Y enterprise, we analysis the problems and causes of the migrantworkers’ labor rights and interests protection in Mudanjiang city.Finally, aimed at the existing problems in the migrant workers rights andinterests protection in Mudanjiang city, we put forward the suggestions and countermeasures about the migrant workers labor rights protection in Mudanjiang city,including strengthen the government ’s responsibility in protecting the rights andinterests of migrant workers, reform the urban-rural household registration system,transform the urban-rural traditional employment system, establish and perfect thesocial security system covering both urban and rural areas, strengthen migrantworkers rights and interests law safeguard, perfect the function of labour union,improve the law action ability of the migrant workers, and strengthen the educationand training to improve the comprehensive quality of migrant workers.On the process of the protection of labor rights of migrant workers, government,enterprise and migrant workers all have their own responsibility, but the key and coreforce was the government. This article research the status and the existing problems ofmigrant workers rights and interests protection in of Mudanjiang city, which wouldprovide some countermeasures for the government of Mudanjiang city and therelevant departments, and would provide a certain reference value for the nationalsecurity interests of migrant workers.
