Since the reform and opening of our country, and China’s entering World Trade Organization, the industry of foreign trade has gained a rapid development, among which, textiles exporting business has always been the most important profitable industry for China’s exporting. It made a great contribution to the economy of our country.In recent years, especially after the financial crisis in2008, Tianjin NT Textiles Import and Export Corporation has been facing a lot of problems with it’s sustainable development, such as weak external demand, the appreciation of the RMB exchange rate, which lead to the decline of the textiles exporting industry. Textiles exporting enterprises must adjust the current strategy to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, in order to survive in the fierce market competition and gain chances to develop.This paper introduce this former state-owned foreign trade company, now as Tianjin NT Textiles Import and Export Corporation, with its history and nowadays situation. Putting the company into present international and domestic market competition status to find out the company’s internal weakness and external barrier for its further development. By analyzing the development background environment of the of Tianjin NT textiles Import and Export Corporation as well as the relevant theories, using SWOT analysis method, to determine the overall development strategy of Tianjin NT Textiles Import and Export Corporation, putting forward a number of specific methods and advices to carry out the overall strategy.In view of Tianjin NT textiles Import and Export Corporation’s development strategy, to establish a clear future development idea, nurturing the company’s core competitiveness is of great significance for building this company to a strong enterprise to compete in domestic also international market, for now and for future. In the mean time, through the case study, it has a certain reference significance for the development of foreign trade enterprises.
