Harmonious Society Construction Of Ecological Civilization From The Perspective Of Theory And Practice Research

The key concept of the ecological civilization construction is harmonious development between Human being and nature, which comes down in one continuous line with the construction of socialist harmonious society. As early as160years ago, Marx and Engels had described a perfect picture that man and nature coexist in harmony. However, they did not provide us a direct answer on how to construct ecological civilization in the primary stage of socialism. Hu Jintao’s report at17th Party Congress in2007clearly put forward the strategic task to ecological civilization construction in China.Ecological civilization construction is an important measure of the Party based on re-examining the mode of economic and society development in China, and is a profound revolution involving mode of production, mode of subsistence, and values. Ecological civilization construction must firstly guide people to embrace scientific value of ecological civilization. Moreover, awareness of ecological ethics is the moral basis and spiritual support of ecological civilization construction. In recent years, as one of the pilot cities on ecological civilization in China, Shenzhen actively responded to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and carried a series of theoretical and practical activities on the ecological civilization construction. In the context of construction of socialist harmonious society in China, it has great significance in taking Shenzhen as an example to carry out the theoretical and practical study of the ecological civilization construction under the vision of harmonious society, which includes re-examining the theoretical basis of the ecological civilization construction, continuously deepening the ecological concept of Marxism, clarifying the relationship between harmonious society and ecological civilization, comprehensively analyzing existing problems in recent ecological civilization construction, and exploring effective realization path for future ecological civilization construction under the vision of harmonious society. The thesis is divided into five parts:In the introduction, present research findings on harmonious society, ecological civilization and their relationship at home and abroad is reviewed, and background, significance, idea and methods of this research is briefly introduced.Chapter Ⅰ begins with the dialectical relationship between human-being and nature. The important ecological ideology in the Marxist view of nature is analyzed, and the universal value of Marxist view of nature in the contemporary society is in-depth explored. How to establish a correct ecological view, how to correctly understand the word "labor", as well as the meaning and significance of harmonious development are also studied. On this basis, the meaning and main content of ecological civilization in harmonious society is introduced, and the proper social development concept and view of nature for harmonious development between human being and nature is analyzed.From the perspective of economic, legal, policy, physical geography, ecology, environment and culture, Chapter Ⅱ analyzes the advantage and recent achievement of ecological civilization construction in Shenzhen. Existing problems are also listed in details, including the sense of ecological civilization, ecological civilization system, and environmental management, innovation capacity of the city, urban ecological security and the integration of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.From the perspective of harmonious society, Chapter Ⅲ points out the guidelines and basic principles for ecological civilization construction in Shenzhen, and described the seven basic elements of the ecological civilization construction, and proposed18indicators of ecological civilization construction considering Shenzhen’s local features, which covers the following three parts:ecological economy, ecological environment and ecological culture.In Chapter Ⅳ, theoretical consideration of the path of ecological civilization construction in Shenzhen is firstly introduced. Realization path for ecological civilization construction in Shenzhen is suggested, which covers eight main areas. On this basis, seven necessary protection mechanisms are also proposed.
