During the past20years, the wave of Post-Mergers&Acquisitions Integration(PMI) has swept the whole world. Five big acquisitions have occurred and coverednearly all of the most important industries. After the huge wave, investorssurprisingly found out that most enterprises suffered during the process of integration, with a lot of problems merged. Why does it happen? Which part of integration goeswrong? How should the both sides of PMI cooperate and make the integrationprocess go more smoothly? All these problems call for academic power to participate in, and completelyanswer these questions. As for the current research of PMI, researchers have doneresearch on the content, knowledge and capability of PMI, of which they emphasismuch on human resource integration (HMI). Current research on HMI focuses on theproblems brought by integration, as well as main competitors and key points, butthere’s still much more deep research needed. This article aims at exploring methods and mechanism of HMI. Thus, the modelof “Diffusion of innovation” is used in presenting the mechanism of human resourceintegration, which enriches current studies and provides practical example forenterprises which involve in PMI.
