In recent years, the food safety incidents occur frequently which influence thehealth of consumers, development of social economy and industrial economy, evenstability of society and public image of the government. On June1,2009, The FoodSafety Law of P. R. China was promulgated and implemented in order to build thefood safety supervision in whole process.Since the promulgation and implementation of Food Safety Law, the problems offood safety supervision still exist. The author discusses the present situation andinfluencing factors of Food Safety in China in recent years using literature researchmethod, Comparative analysis approach, system analysis method and logic analysismethod. Combining with the advanced management experience of the developedcountries, the author analyzes the first trial of food safety three-tier supervisorysystem in Jinnan District and discusses the realistic need and the feasibility ofimplementation of local government three-tier supervisory system. Referringsuccessful experience, the author designs food safety three-tier supervisory model atthe basic level and puts forward suggestions.
