The early21st century, as the “the Golden Travel Project” and the demonstrationproject of “Digital Scenic Area” have been started one after another, tourist attractionsinformationization construction opened gradually. However, a survey shows that onlyless than30%companies think that their informationization construction is successful.The majority of them attribute the failure to a lack of information professionals.This article takes research object, research content and the selection of index asresearch starting points and innovation points. The research object is tourist attractionsjobholders’ information literacy. The content is the evaluation about information literacyof them. The information literacy evaluation criteria for the employees are constructedby using kinds of methods, for example, Delphi, surveys, and principal componentanalysis. The important theoretical basis for recruitment, selection and training ofinformation professionals is provided.First, the information literacy, their evaluation and correlation theories are knownby a large number of in-depth readings to relevant literature. Second, an analysis aboutthe necessity to evaluate tourist attractions jobholders’ information literacy based on abrief description of its content. Thirdly, this paper analyzes and compares existinginformation literacy evaluation criteria and methods, and refers to “Higher EducationInformation Literacy Standards” from American and domestic definition of informationliteracy which takes the three essential factors as content, considering tourist attractionsjobholders’ work content and characteristic, to construct information literacy evaluationcriteria for the employees. Finally, according to preamble established evaluation model,principal component analysis is used to complete the comprehensive evaluation forsome tourist attractions in Henan. Find out the main reason which affects thejobholders’ information literacy by analyzing evaluation results. In order to promotetheir information literacy, several strategies and recommendations are put forward fromthe four aspects of infrastructural facilities, information consciousness, informationability and information morals.
