“Lean Production”, which developed base on the TPS, provide a new direction to thedeveloping of manufacturing. People focus on how to push the “Lean Production” according tothe actual situation of enterprise. The present thesis analyzes the current production process flow, and discusses lean production concepts and implementation in details, with the integration of onemotor manufacturing actual situation thoroughly. The present thesis is to apply for the basic principles and methods of industrial engineeringonto a type motor assembling line in this motor manufacturing by assaying production process; toanalyze and improve each operations of this assembling line by using operation improvementmethods; to setup the ST; to promote assembly efficiency and availability with balance ofassembly line. The present thesis is to quantize the performance of assembling line according to leanproduction concepts. It simulates the new scheme by using eM-plant software; and it build asimulation model for buffer management. Providing a referenced model to make the referenceddata for buffer size decision. Finally, it analyzes four advantages of this new scheme: to increase output; to reduce thewaste rate; to shorten production lead time; to control WIP.
