| With the cost of labor and raw materials, the market competitionintensifies. More and more businesses try to optimize the operationmanagement with improving production efficiency〠reducing cost andimproving customer satisfaction. The production scheduling and equipmentmaintenance are the two basic part in the operation management. However,the scheduling theory meets bottlenecks when used in the actual production.One of the bottlenecks is that the schedule theory ignores the impact of theequipment maintenance. In the practice, the production scheduling and themaintenance interferes each other. On the one hand production schedulingtakes up the time of maintenance and changes the breakdown rate of themachine. On the other hand, the maintenance brings some unavailable timeinterval for production scheduling and changes the production rate.The tobacco flow shop is the primary research object in this paper withabstracting the tobacco production process into a equivalent two-machineflow shop. And then a simplified method was proposed to solve the modelaccording to the characteristic of the problem. Finally, a case was used toverify the validity of the model and the effectiveness of the method. |
