Study On Cost Management For Dairy Products Logistics Project

With increasingly fierce competition and rising raw material prices, dairy industry hasentered into low profit era facing serious cost challenges. Under conditions of highmanufacturing cost, a lot of dairy enterprises choose the optimization of logistics cost asthe third profit source. Due to the lack of whole project cost control in the actualimplementation, people attach too much importance to the master budget control ignoringthe logistics project’s long cycle and complicated technology，easily leading to project costout of control even project failure. Therefore constructing an effective logistics project costmanagement is of great significance for the dairy enterprise under new situation.This article proposes dairy logistics project cost management mode using the processmanagement theory and the author′s experience after researching PMI project costmanagement; Using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to complete cost managementqualitative analysis, solving cost budget estimate error of the past logistics project; Basedon cooling load calculation method refining project cost quantitative analysis, logisticsproject cost estimation can be refined to cost budget; Using the Six Sigma DMAICoperation mode to strengthen project cost control, in order to prevent additional costscaused by engineering defect. The dairy logistics project cost management model obtainexpected effect in practical application, improving project budget accuracy, strengtheningproject cost control and reducing project budget overruns occurrences.
