With China’s rapid economic development, the ability to fulfill people’smedical and health needs is increasing. As a result, the demand formedical devices grows rapidly. So China’s orthopaedic industry alsobloom up, and the competitive becomes hotly.For the reason of complex product line, too many uncertainties,it’svery difficult for companies to manage it’s implant inventory among allthe orthopedic industry. At the same time, effective inventorymanagement can bring high value cost save due to high unit price.This paper uses X orthopedic device company as a sample in the industry,bases on background research and academic theories research, makestudy on the X company’s inventory management status and problems,find the reason of all the issues, then give the solution of the improvedmethod. At last, analyzes the possibility of apply modern inventorymanagement theory in X Company X under the current supply chaincompetitive environment. This paper hope the study can share theinventory management experience and learning with other domesticindustry, so as to make a modest contribution to the entire industry andit’s healthy and stable development. |
