Labor contract management is an important component of enterprise management, becauseit has great significance to build a harmonious society,advance the management level andstrengthen enterprise competitive advantage. In the year2008, a series of labor contract laws havebeen enacted by Chinese government, such as Law of the People’s Republic of China onEmployment Contracts, Law of People’s Republic of China on Mediation and Arbitration of LaborDisputes, these laws made a wide-range adjustment, put forward newly higher standards. In thesame year, financial crisis has spread around the world, together with long term cutthroatcompetition in China, the Chinese logistics industry, especially the small and medium-sizedlogistics enterprises have suffered serve impacts. Under the combined effects of these factors,from the year2008, a large number of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises had to makenegative adjustments, there were also many problems in labor contract management, and thuslabor disputes presented the trend of keeping on rising. Qingdao HT Logistics Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to "HT company") is a typical small and medium-sized logistics enterprise,there gradually appears deficiency of current labor contract management. In this paper, the authorpresents all aspects of the current labor contract management in the HT company, to find out theexisting problems, analyze the reasons and put forward effective measures, which is expected tohave some actions of reference in the labor contract management for the small and medium-sizedlogistics enterprises, so it has important significance.The main research work is summarized as follows: Firstly, it designs for company laborcontract management on the basis of three important theories-theory related with labor contracts,risk management theory and process management theory. Secondly, with the real materials afterinstigation, it highlights HT company status and current situation of human resource, and makes abrief analysis. Thirdly, taking the labor contract management process as a clue and basing on thecurrent labor laws especially Law of the People’s Republic of China on Employment Contracts, itanalyzes the existing problems of labor contract management in HT company with fivesequentially coherent logic sections-basic management system, signing labor contracts, implementing and changing labor contracts, labor contract disputes management, riskidentification. In order to give full play for guiding practice, this paper illustrates the basicdefinition and essential requirements while concluding, uses real cases to strengthen convincing;choosing highly-representative problems in HT company among the small and medium-sizedlogistics enterprises to enhance the general application value. These problems are: basicmanagement organizations are illogical; system construction is not on place; management processis imperfect; many deficiencies in risk management; existence of guilty phenomenon. Finally, itanalyzes from the perspectives of awareness level of managers and executives, disseminating thegeneral knowledge of law and management method. In order to increase the level of labor contractmanagement in HT company, from the perspectives of completing the process construction,paying attention on risk management, strengthening the system construction, optimizing themanagement model, it puts forward the measures respectively, what’s more, the strategies andsolutions could meet the needs of the industry and HT company.
