| Spatial cluster of industries is the most prominent geographical feature ofeconomic activities, and has been a hotspot that related disciplines concern such aseconomic geography, regional economics, management, etc. The formation ofregional industry cluster is affected by various factors and closely related toeconomic development and the evolution of regional spatial structure. In order todeeply analysis the formation and effects of industry cluster in different regions,the paper chooses Xindu of Tongcheng in Anhui province, based on relatedconceptions and theories and with the help of methods such as field interview ofenterprises, questionnaire investigation of residents and so on. The paper can bemainly divided into following parts:First, through crosswise analysis, the paper finds that industry cluster inXindu presents some actual characteristics such as powerful spatial cluster andcooperation, low level of professional work division, smaller scale, weak ability ofinnovation and so on. Then longitudinally analyzes the development history ofindustry cluster in Xindu, results show that the distribution patterns of printing andpackaging industries in different periods present different characteristics, the wholeprogress performs“sporadic pointlike—shaft shape—one shaft and one planar—two shafts and three planar”.The development of industry cluster is influenced byboth traditional and new factors, and its growth mechanism includes formation anddevelopment mechanism.Second, the paper selectively analyses the economic effects, spatial effectsand negative effects of industry cluster, results indicate that the development ofindustry cluster, economy and spatial structure are generally consistent, but itsimproving role is not obvious. And with the mature of the industry, the negativeeffects gradually increase.Third, the paper proposes some relative suggestions in order to promote thesustainable development of printing and packing industry from region, cluster andenterprise three levels. |
