The Mechanism Analysis On The Development Of Shanghai Industrial Design Industry Agglomeration

During the recent years, with the rapid development of society, People’s basicneeds have been protected, and then more change their pursuit of material to thespiritual satisfaction, so at this time there is a higher demand of products’ design andfunction. Industrial Design is a science that research how to use the design to satisfythe consumers’ demand. Throughout the development process of Chinese industrialdesign, it main focus on the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, the BohaiEconomic Rim and other economically regions, and it has gradually become one ofthe key industry that cities are developing.In the forefront of Chinese economic development level, Shanghai is committedto building and creating the city of design, and also is facing the reality of thetransformation of economic development mode. The development of industrialdesign can better combine Shanghai’s cultural diversity and sophisticatedmanufacturing and can maximize the comprehensive advantages of Shanghai ampletalent, brand, research, etc., and better take advantage of the city, help Shanghai’surban transformation.This paper take this phenomenon as the starting point that Shanghai industrialdesign is centralize developing, summarized the cities and countries’ usefulexperience about how to develop Industrial Design, and comprehensively useindustrial cluster theory, objectively described Shanghai industrial designagglomeration form and agglomeration effect. At the other hand, it selected theappropriate agglomeration method, and combined many scholars’ results withselecting the agglomeration influence factors that considering the data procurabilityto select index. The results show that Shanghai’s industrial design industry has beenin the situation of agglomeration, but compared with Beijing, Guangdong it also hasa certain gap.Finally, in the empirical research results for reference, it take some advice aboutthe government guidance, the cultivation of talents, creative atmosphere, industrial demand and so on. It hope to help the government and enterprises to actively takemeasures to adjust the direction of industry, formulate the corresponding industrialpolicy, and really promote the Shanghai industrial design industry furtheragglomeration development.
