Agricultural development in the final analysis relies on the progress of scienceand technology. Strong science and technology would prosper agricultural.Innovation of science and technology is the source, and the ultimate goal ofinnovation is to boost farmer groups to accept and use through the promotion ofagricultural technology. Promotion of agricultural science and technology is thebridge and link between scientific achievements and practical productive forces.Based on the theory of agricultural technology promotion system construction,this paper systematically analyzes China’s agricultural technology extension systemdevelopment history and current situation, and focuses on the summary evaluationof the main pattern used of agricultural technology extension system, including:government agencies dominated promotion, technology project driven promotion,market oriented promotion, scientific research and educational institutionsdominant promotion, etc.. Then, carry on the comparative analysis of agriculturaltechnology promotion system experience from the developed countries. And we getfive enlightenments: one is the government support is the important premise forthe promotion of agricultural technology; abundant capital input is the basicguarantee for the promotion of agricultural technology; high-quality staff is theimportant foundation for the promotion of agricultural technology; education,scientific research, and promotion, the three factors organically integrated assurefor the effectiveness mechanism; give the farmer specialized cooperativeorganization a full play is the key factor of agricultural technology promotion.Finally, this study puts forward that to build a country government promotion,scientific research, and education organically combined and agriculture-relatedorganizations supplemented diversified agricultural technology extension system asthe countermeasures.
