Travel agency industry is a leading enterprise in the tourism industry, and it plays a very important role in the integration of tourism resources and promoting tourism development. However, the phenomenon the travel agency is lack of social responsibility is very common. In terms of products, Travel agency of the products showed low product quality, poor service, low-price competition and so on; in terms of the staff, the remuneration of travel agencies employees, especially the remuneration of the tour guides, has a problem, tour guides were receiving some unreasonable fees by travel agencies. The performance of travel agency is a lack of social responsibility to employees; In terms of competitors, the phenomenon of false propaganda behavior, lack of dumping behavior, confusion behavior is widespread in travel agency industry. Therefore, society pays much more attention to the travel agency.The paper applies theory to the travel agency social responsibility,and points out the meaning, subject, object and content of the travel agency social responsibility, the writer widely read various monographs,papers and case related to the subject, also interview the main person in charge of the travel agencies, experts and scholars. The paper points out the status and reasons that the travel agency lacks of social responsibility.Finally, this paper finds the ways to enhance the travel agency social responsibility. it is helpful to change the image of the travel industry, to improve the competitiveness of the travel agency, to promote the healthy development of the tourism industry.
