Since2000the18th text of State Council was promulgated and implemented, with booming software industry and rapid technological innovation, there is rapidly increasing demand for knowledge-based talents. Knowledge workers are core resources for companies to create competitive; their innovation and creativity are core energy to promote enterprise development and corporate strategic objectives, and thus the focus of enterprise competition is shifting to be competition of knowledge-based talent. R Company is a leading software industry; its business covers important national military and energy companies, and leads the technology level and market share among the international similar products in the software industry with a distinct representation. With the development of the times, R Company is also facing a younger knowledge-based talent team, higher turnover rate, lack of work enthusiasm for and other issues. Therefore, it has become a focus also difficulty for business management how to build scientific excitation mechanism to enhance enthusiasm enthusiasm of knowledge workers, stimulate the creativity of knowledge workers and retain talent for the enterprise.This thesis starts from R Company’s existing excitation mechanism for knowledge workers, according to the basic theory of incentives and combination of theory and practice; deepens the knowledge-based research about software industry employees’incentives in order to effectively promote enterprise to manage, nurture and retain people resource and truly make the best use of it. Facing rapid development of internet is the requirement for integration of domestic software and information service. The research of this subject is the excellent promotion and reference for the knowledge-based employee incentive management in software industry, at the same time to help companies achieve the best interests and promote the development of China’s software industry.The thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter Ⅰ introduces the thesis background, significance, objects and methods; Chapter Ⅱ is the literature summary, which concludes related domestic and international theories; Chapter Ⅲ is the incentives status quo of software industry R Company and outlines requirements of China’s software industry development and employment, at the same time analyzes the incentives status quo of R Company; Chapter Ⅳ is the questionnaire survey and analysis; via survey methods to analyze knowledge-based employees’needs and the key motivating factor for R Company; Chapter Ⅴ introduces the measures to improve excitation mechanism;Chapter Ⅵ summarizes and looking forward the future management and incentive model of the software industry.
