Study On Sustainable Development In Chenzhou City Base On Relative Carrying Capacity Of Resources

With the concerning of problems about population, resource，environment andsustainable development，the research of resource carrying capacity of Chenzhou cityhas begun. Choosing China,Hunan province, Yongzhou city and Changsha city asconsulting regions，through calculating the dynamic changes of relative carryingcapacity in Chenzhou city and the differences of relative carrying capacity in differentareas in Chenzhou city, finds out the flaws of relative carrying capacity of naturalresources and economical resources,aims to provide an alarm to a harmonious andsustainable development of population,resources,economy and society.The calculating result shows that the relative carrying capacity of land resourcesof Chenzhou city can carry is abundant,when we choosing Hunan province,Yongzhou city and Changsha city as consulting regions;but inadequate when wechoosing China as consulting region.For its economic backwardness in which therelative carrying capacity of economic resources is lower compared with the level ofChina and Hunan province,the relative synthesize carrying capacity of Chenzhou citysignificantly lower than these places.On the other hand,the relative carrying capacity varies from areas to areas inChenzhou city. The relative carrying capacity of land and economic resources ofGuiyang County is lower than the actual population. The relative carrying capacity ofland and economic resources is higher than the actual population in fiveCounties,Yongxing County,YizhangCounty,Jiahe County, Linwu County and GuidongCounty. The contribution of economic carrying capacity to the relative synthesizecarrying capacity is bigger than the contribution of land carrying capacity to therelative synthesize carrying capacity in districts of Beihu, Suxian and Zixing. Thecontribution of land carrying capacity is a bit higher in Anren County and RuchengCounty, but its relative synthesize carrying capacity is not enough.For the purpose of sustainable development of Yongzhou city,some measuresshould be taken to protect the land quantity and quality,to adjust the industrialstructure,to coordinate population, resources and economy.
