Research On Industrialization Of Rural Tourism In Mazhan District Of Wenzhou

Rural tourism originated in Europe in the19th century, which arised from the context of the speeded-up of the process of industrialization and urbanization and its negative effects. Rural tourism in China rised in1980s, at present it is in the initial stage, but growing very rapidly. In recent years, national experts research on rural tourism in-depth more and more. In this paper, systematically and in-depth analysis on the rural tourism resources and the industrial development of rural tourism in Mazhan district was performed using the relevant theories of tourism research.This paper studies the development of future rural tourism in Mazhan, Wenzhou City of Zhejiang Province, by summing up and concluding the status and development of rural tourism at home and abroad, combined with tourism development in Wenzhou City and tourism resources in Mazhan, and put forward building participatory and experiential rural tourism industrialization development model in Mazhan.Studies suggest that Mazhan has unique advantage resources for development of rural tourism such as natural landscape, cultural heritage, special crops, modern agricultural demonstration park of significant construction effects, etc. Mazhan should be developed under the guidance of a scientific and rational planning program, for that would help to promote the rural industrial structure adjustment, increase local people’s income, transfer of rural surplus labor force, improve the capacity and landscape of village, promote the building of a harmonious urban and rural villages, promote the local construction of spiritual civilization, mobilize funds to participate in the initiative. Therefore, the development of tourism resources in the area has a very necessity and urgency. However, in view of the current situation, development of rural tourism in Mazhan has both advantages in local governments’support in Mazhan Tourism resource development and a rich source of favorable conditions, and disadvantage in poor tourist traffic situation, poor tourist reception capacity and not well-known tourism resource. The local government and tourism related sectors must clearly recognize the advantages and disadvantages, to build brand to advantages, to improve the adverse infrastructure that limit the development of rural tourism from time to time to disadvantage.
