Study On Factors Affecting Inbanlance Of Supply And Demand Of China’s University Graduates Majoring In Tourism

Employment is the major issue related to the national economy and people’s livelihood, and it is also the sustenance of the well-being of countless families.At a low employment rate worldwide, for being influenced by the expansion of China’s university enrollment scale and many other practical factors, employment of university graduates in our country is also facing severe challenges.There has been rapid growth in turism in recent years. And large quantities of telents are urgently and increasingly needed in the turismindustry. Turism industry is a service industry with a large scale and play a significant role in absorbing labor resources.With the development of China’s higher education in turism, the quantity and quality of students majoring in turism have been sharply increased and improved. Even so, employment of university students majoring in tourism appears to be at a comparatively low rate for the influence of the characteristics of the industry and employment idea, thus, obvious talent supply and demand contradiction is on the stage, which gradually brings us a new and serious problem:balance of supply and demand of the employment of graduates in tourism.This paper takes the theory of supply and demand in western economics as the framework, adopts college students majoring in turism as the research objects and detects into the reason affecting the balance of supply and demand of their employment.This paper first reviews literatures and views on employment at home and abroad, makes a brief comments on them, analyzes the current situation and features of strong demand and inadequate supply of tourism majors’employment and also search for the reasons causing such inbanlance of labor supply and demand under the theoretic framework of supply and demand theory. The paper makes investigation into the major factors affecting tourism majors’employment through empirical analysis in the form of questionnaire, analyzes the suvey results by SPSS for binary logistic regression to ensure inflence degrees of each main factors on employment.On the empirical analysis, the paper gives the specific countermeasures from two aspects of supply and demand respectively to address the controdiction between supply and demand of university tourism majors to promote the development of tourism industry.
