The Research On The Measurement And The Empirical Study Of Influencing Factors Of The Intra-industry Trade Of Electromechanical Products Bewteen China And Japan

Having read a large number of literatures about international trade division andintra-industry trade,this synthesis concentrated on the intra-industry trade betweenChina and Japan because of their close politically and economically contact from theperspective of a widespread form of trade in developed countries-intra-industry tradeand choose the electromechanical products which play a significant role in theexternal trade between China and Japan to research the intra-industry trade degree ofthese products of the two countries.First of all,this synthesis reviewed and summarized the theory of intra-industrytrade and analyse systematically the mechanism of intra-industry trade ofelectromechanical products,then compared and sum up the existing measuring indexes.And after that the representative measuring indexs such as GL index, MIITindex,HIIT index,VIIT index have been chosen to contrastively analyse the situationof intra-industry trade from1992to2010between Chian and Japan in respect ofelectromechanical products from static and dynamic perspectives. It was concludedthat there is a coexistence of inter-industry and intra-industry trade between Chinaand Japan in terms of the trade of electromechanical products.It was also concludedthat the increment of intra-industry of electromechanical products was caused by thevertical intra-industry trade.Subsequently, after summarizing the influencing factors of intra-industry trade,four representative influencing factors--the the size of Sino-Japan countries,thedifference of per capita income between China and Japan,direct investment fromJapan to China and the degree of trade imbalance between China and Japan havebeen selected to analyse the impact of them on the intra-industry trade ofelectromechanical products between China and Japan by using least square method.Finally,this synthesis put forward meaningful policies and suggestions aiming atimproving the degree of the intra-industry trade of electromechanical products betweenChina and Japan on the basis of the conclusion acqired by measurement and modelingof the intra-industry trade of electromechanical products between China and Japan.
