In recent years, the project management informatization of large construction enterprises is the research focus of personnel at home and abroad. However, the level of project management information system is in the initial stage in China. Most of the project management information system are imperfect and have information communication barriers, seriously affecting project management efficiency of the enterprise. In particular, the projects undertaken by large construction enterprises in China is gradually showing the characteristics of the complex and cross-regional, a serious problem of resource sharing between projects, conflict, coordination is difficult under the circumstances of enterprise resource limited, and the corporate strategic objectives are difficult to achieve. Therefore, aiming at the present situation of project management informatization of large construction enterprise in China, as well as learn from multi-project management theory and advanced information technology was applied, this article make a research on the creation of multi-project management information system that large construction enterprise, provided new ideas for project management informatization of large construction enterprise.This article discussed necessity of multi-project management on large construction enterprise based on the multi-project management theory and the present situation of project management on large construction enterprise. The central and key problems of multi-project management were analyzed, which are the adaptability of the management organizational structure, optimize the allocation of corporate resources and the establishment of the multi-project management information system.For the realization of highly effective multi-project management on large construction enterprise, a typical structure of large construction enterprise was studied deeply, and a optimized structure of large construction enterprise was proposed. This article made detail study to critical business processes of large construction enterprise had initially solved the problem of the shortage on business processes standard. Meanwhile, this article applied RPM static plane analysis and RPM dynamic analysis method to the study of assessment on the allocation of multi-project critical resources. All of above laid the foundation for the multi-project management information system of large construction enterprises.The design idea of multi-project management information system was introduced, as well as the objective of system and principles of constructing were determined. The grid technology was applied to the establishment of the multi-project management information system. The overall framework of the system was constructed, as well as the information standard of system was selected and database design of system was studied. Finally, the function of critical modules were design, meanwhile the function of each critical module was described in detail, and made a case study to the module of resource allocation assessment.The data envelopment analysis was used to evaluate the operating efficiency of the multi-project management information system. The influencing factors of operating efficiency of system were analyzed, thereby establishing the evaluation index system. Then selecting the applicable DEA model to evaluate, meanwhile the solution method and results analysis were given. This article not only to provide reference for the establishment of multi-project management information system and evaluate the operating efficiency of system, but also promote and improve the establishment and operating efficiency of multi-project management information system.Information system framework was established by the multi-project management of large construction companies, which take full account of the relationship that progress, materials, equipment, funds and other elements between the multi-project of large construction companies, management methods and operational efficiency. The system should enable the personnel of every layers in the construction enterprise to manage multi-project dynamically, eliminating "islands of information", and optimize resource allocation. Therefore, the efficiency of business management is improved and the core competitiveness of enterprise is enhanced. This article has important theoretical and practical significance to project management informatization of construction enterprises in China.
