With the strength of the power supply supervision by the nation, and the increase of demands for consumer’s electricity services, grid operations changes from the power generation side to the sale of electricity side. Therefore, the management of marketing security risks is an important task which impact on the development of power grid companies.To fully implement the decision and deployment on security task of the State Grid Corporation, and improve the prevention measures of marketing safety risk, this paper first introduced risk management theory, security management theory, early-warning theory and other basic theory involved by security risks management research, described the concept and content of power marketing security risk, and analyzed power company’s current problems. Used expert surveys, brainstorming and other risk identification methods, power marketing security risk could be divided into fiver categories:market risk, operation risk, electric cost security risk, service risk and system security risk. Then considering the questionnaire, factor analysis, BP neural network, matrix analysis and other methods, the marketing security risks had been analyzed and evaluated to division and determine the level of risk, and an example was demonstrated the effectiveness and practicality of the power marketing security risk assessment model. Finally, from the angles of the organization, system criteria, management processes, early-warning and emergency system, this paper build a management system of power marketing security risk, proposed detailed and feasible control measures as well as implement scheme to protect the orderly operation of power company’s marketing security work.Based on comprehensively identification and scientific evaluation of the marketing security risks faced by electricity Power Company, this paper shows an innovative and systematic risk management system, which brought early prevention, system response and scientific management of risks. Truly realized “control, can control, in control” of power marketing security, ensured that the power companies work orderly and provide effective security risk management reference for electricity enterprise, with a highly economic value and practical significance.
