Study On Recreation Valuation Of Qishan National Forest Park

Recently years,with the continuous gross of people’s living standards,more andmore people go outdoors to join in the forest eco-tourism.The development of foresteco-tourism has become a hot spot,so how to scientific and rational evaluate a forestscenic’s recreation resource value,has become the base and premise of the foresteco-tourism development.It make people more understanding the use value andnon-use value of forest recreation resource,also make the management and investorsof forest scenic get more reasonable distribution of income,even, it has an veryimportant significance for the management and the policy-making of Forest Park’srational development.The previous researches were mostly focused on a Forest Parkwhich have a high level of development and also famous in its country.Now the papertry to change the study object to an suburban forest park which have a lower level oftourism development but still have large potential in the future-Fuzhou QishanNational Forest Park.The research relied on a subject program of Fujian Provincial ForestryDepartment,which is called"the function of monitoring and evaluation of forestbiodiversity and recreation in Fujian Province".First discussed the theoretical basis ofthe forest recreation resources valuation, and then based on the situation of the QishanNational Forest Park, used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method whichcombining the two mainstream methods of the existing assessments of the value offorest recreation resource-the Travel Cost Method (TCM) and Contingent ValuationMethod(CVM).Ultimately,choosed the method of ITCM model to assess the use-valueof Qishan Forest Park recreation resources,while selecting the CVM model toassessment its non-use value,finally figure out the total value of Qishan Forest Parkrecreation resources.And then according to the assessment results,author analyzed andgiven some suggestions for the problems discovered in the process of questionnairesand site visits.The study conclusions are as followings:Firstly,selected the ITCM method to assessment the recreation resources of Qishan Forest Park,and it turned out to be36.328million yuan.Then analyzed theinfluencing factors of the tourists’ travel time by the multivariate regression method,itturned out that the main factors affect the use value of Qishan Forest Park recreationresources,they are tourists’ residence place,travel expenses,educational level,monthlyincome,and the satisfaction feeling with Forest Park.Secondly,selected the CVM method to assessment the non-use value of theQishan Forest Park’s recreational resources,which turned out to be303.7735millionyuan (including the option value of74.9713million yuan;bequest value of87.6083million yuan;value of141.1939million yuan),and then try to find out the main factorswhich affecting people’s willing to pay for the non-use values,and then find out thevery significant factors are monthly income,residence place;while the significantfactors is educational level.These datas also impacted that the tourists of the QishanForest Park is willingness to pay for the recreation resource’s non-use value.Thirdly,through the ITCM method and the CVM method,we finally calculate thetotal value of Qishan Forest Park recreation resources is340.101million yuan.Andthen based on the previous surveys and the assessment results,author gave somerecommendations:increase efforts to develop tourism resources;further improve thepark infrastructure;intensify tourism promotion;strengthen the construction of thescenic area management team.
