Urbanization and industrialization are respectively the essence of the development of economy and society. When industrialization has been promoting the process of urbanization, it is meanwhile strengthened by urbanization from breadth and depth. As different aspects of the same development process, it is not enough to study their internal development only. We have to bring the two into one system to discuss the formation of the coordination and its driving force to the entire development.The paper analyzed the interaction and operation system of urbanization and Industrialization from relative theories. It raised the logic of the coordinated development of urbanization and Industrialization and studies the coordinated system from point of dualistic structure transformation of urban and rural areas, thus extended the meaning of this transformation. Empirically speaking, this paper brought urbanization and industrialization into one entire system through selecting elements to build a index system. Specifically, through measuring the comprehensive index coordination of urbanization and industrialization form the year of1988to2011and economic structure dualistic index, it could be concluded that the coordination stays good and the dualism keeps being weakened. The paper furthermore obtained that the coordinated interactive system of urbanization and industrialization has great significance to national dualistic structure transformation, to virtuous development of social economy, and to the harmonious development of the entire society. At last this paper put forward relative policy suggestions such as sustained industrialization process and rational and orderly urbanization process should be continued promoting in the future development.
