With the rapid economic development, the intensification of social change, the accelerated process of modernization, that make the work of the nature of changes in a fundamental way. Within the organizations, work is becoming increasingly complexing and intensifying competition, the staff are facing increasing pressure all the time.In this thesis, the job security of employees is a serious problem to employees, they can easily generate job exhaustion sense.A large number of studies confirm that physical and mental health of employees are seriously affected by occupational burnout, the issue became a hot research topic in various disciplines. In August2005, commissioned by the Shanghai Academy of Social Science, Department of Psychology, East China Normal University, Shanghai employees Burnout survey shows that40%of employees feel tired of work; burnout has become the most discussed topics in the Human Resources Conference.Job burnout has become a widespread problem of globalization, it is not only a killer of the health of employees but also hinder a serious obstacle to enterprise management to improve employees performance.This study focused on the investigation of occupational burnout among social background and occupational background, trying to analyze job burnout with the theories of Max Weber, Habermas, in order to achieve the purpose of several follow studies:To examine the causes of burnout; to examine the relationship between three dimensions of the different sources of social support and occupational burnout, understanding the significance of different sources to different types of social support status for the prevention and overcoming burnout.This study has made several achievements, as follows:1. This study found that occupational burnout is relationed with the social structure, social change.2. This study found a significant correlation between social support and job burnout, social support is a good predictor of the occupational burnout of employees. The study found that the more of social support resources of staff, the lower frequency of the occupational burnout.3This study found that there is no causal link between the employee’s gender and social exhaustion. In the modern social contex, it is a good way to expand the sources of social support of the staffs to reduce employees’ sense of occupational burnout. |
