This thesis aims for a better understanding of Japanese common approaches to management, which include the sustainable development of enterprises, interior control, financial management, budget supervision, performance evaluation, applicantion of reasonable proposals, co-execution based on staff-oriented policy and teamwork as well as enterprise’s social responsibilities. By analyzing TOPPAN’s routine work,the thesis generalizes the characteristics of Japanese enterprises’management: far-sightedness, practicality and innovation.The writer has worked in two Japanese companies Toppan and Murata as financial and interior control manager for nearly twenty years. After that,the writer worked as CFO in a domestic public company for several years. Toppan is a public company listed in World500with a history of one hundred and ten years. During its development, it has accumulated a lot of managing experiences and coporate culture, which is worth learning and applying by us. All the cases and data in the thesis are real from the writer’s working experience.According to the writer’s working experience, the writer finds respective advantages and disadvantages of Japanese companies and Chinese ones in administration due to two different cultural background. The thesis was written on the basis of the writer’s working practice and experience. It aims to provide reference for small and medium-sized Chinese companies in the process of establishing brand strategy and management system.
