As is known to us, in order to adapt to the pace of development of the world financial system, China’sfinancial system continues to change during today’s global economic integration. With the increasinglyrapid development of this process, China’s traditional financial industry "separate operation, separatesupervision" is undergoing a severe test during the general trend of the mixed fortune of this globalfinancial industry business.In August2007, The United States suffered economic recession caused by the subprime mortgagecrisis, then gradually spreaded all over the world into a global financial crisis. As a leader of investmentbanking, Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy during2008, followed by Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearnsacquired by commercial banks, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have also begun to be registered as afinancial holding company. None of the completely independent investment bank spared in the currentglobal crisis. We can see from that the Commercial Banks has stronger ability than a single business modelagainst the economic risk. Therefore, if you want financial institutions to hold a strong position in theinternational market, and mixed operation model is an inevitable choice. Throughout the world’s mixedoperation mode, only the financial holding company is more suitable for our use, because financial holdingcompany not only takes into account the efficiency but aslo the stability of the market and has no shortageof the relative continuity of the variable. Therefore, a more systematic comprehensive explore thedevelopment path of a financial holding company in the Commercial Bank of China can be used to solvethe various problems in the development process, which also has very important practical value andsignificance. The financial crisis has over the past few years, although we have entered the post-crisis era,Butstill in the haze of the financial crisis.In China, the process of marketization of interest rates continue to bereminders,the central bank also said that several will progressive implementation of the interest rate market.Facing of the upcoming reform of the financial system,how to take precautions and make it carried outsmoothly.This not only relates to the future development trend of China’s commercial banks,but aslo relatesto the stability of our financial system, China’s commercial banks ability to be able to deal with animportant guarantee of the competition of other banks around the world,as well.Starting from the concept of financial mixed opretion,it introduces the basic concept of financialmixed operation as well as the mixed operation in the course of development of the West. Then introducesthe mixed operation mode of several other countries, including the organizational model of the financialholding company in the United States, Britain and Germany. Analysis of the United States, Citibank,Deutsche Bank and HSBC Group universal banking model of successful experience, and then, the impactand lessons learned from the economic crisis on their respective financial group. Combined with the actualsituation of China’s financial industry and points out that China’s commercial banks should implement thekind of financial holding company, both for our best mode.This article is mainly used in research methods comparaative analysis, case analaysis, as well asempirical analysis.Analyze the mode of foreign several representative, gains experience and lessons from itand compares with those, then find out the way that is more suitable for China’s national conditions, andpropose appropriate countermeasures. Provide a reference for me over the commercial bank reform andinnovation, as well as the practical significance for the development of China’s banking sector.
