TPM Project Management Application In Company TC

The global financial crisis beginning in2008, brought the heavy strike tothe small and medium-sized enterprises, especially export-oriented manufacturingenterprises: price rose in raw material and labor costs, the appreciation of the RMBmore quickly. Some manufacturing enterprises which unprepared directly crashed,but more enterprises still insisted that they would expect to pull through thesurvived crisis smoothly. As one kind of the advanced enterprise management modes,TPM was introduced by domestic enterprises, it played an important role inreducing the production cost, increasing productive efficiency, improving thelevel of management, enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.Will it be successful to be certain to introduce the TPM? Of course, the answeris “no”! Because it refers to the innovation of enterprise management andoperation method,the change of the organization function, the reconstruction ofcorporate culture, it needs take a lot of efforts and changes to get the expectedeffect. According to the survey of TPM failing cases by two phase activities incompany TC before, I f ound it covers91.3percent in failing project casesbecause of different reason. So, TPM activities will be likely to end halfwayif enterprise copy the pushing approach directly in the textbook instead of combingthemselves actual condition in the introducing process.The early equipment management in company TC mode was chiefly thebreakdown maintenance, it was a passive equipment management style, on the basisof studying and analyzing TPM, in order to change this kind of backwardness,the top manager introduced TPM to the equipment management, refering to the successful experiences of enterprises at home and abroad which had advancedTPM, combining the actual condition of company TC, but in the twophases of TPM promoting activities, the failing project cases covered43.5percent of the total cases because it unabled to find suitable approach. So,it will be important meaning for the successful or failing TPM activities to study onhow to use appropriate pushing approach in small and medium-sized enterprises.This thesis gives the comments on the mainstream TPM activities currentsituation of domestic and foreign at fist, then discusses the TPM activities systemand management mode, then analysises the necessary of TPM projectmanagement and the project feasibility in company TC. I regard the TPM activitiesas a big project, using of my project management knowledges, combining withthe third phase of TPM practice in company TC. According to the promotingplan of company TC, TPM project is divided into nine subprojects, they areTPM training and data collection, established project reviewing, the initialcleaning reviewing, pollution sources and difficult points countermeasures reviewing,making of the benchmark book reviewing, qualified machines reviewing, theproject cost evaluationing, project handing over, project summary, the TPM projectis a big project which composed of nine subprojects, then provides a overall designscheme on the TPM project management, detailed description of projectmanagement on how to gradually spread in the TPM activities, respectivelyfrom eight aspects: project scope and target analysis, project quality management,project cost management, project time management, project communication andconflict management, project human resources management, project transfermanagement.In this paper, I discuss TPM project controling and practices to a certain degree, aim to study how to achieve TPM objectives, make the TPM activities pushsmoothly, so as to make all project stakeholders satisfaction. In fact, companyTC makes the TPM project get the expected effects by using the methods ofproject management in the third phase activities, the practices from company TCproves that it is not only necessary but also to use the project management methodin TPM activities.In the epilogue, I have summarized implementation experience andexisting questions for the TPM project, I hope to give similar enterpriseactivities to the beneficial reference.
