China is a mountainous country, in which mountain tourism has been popular since ancient times. With the market of leisure travel in China is gradually expanding in recent years, mountain leisure and tourism exploitation and development has been elevated to an important position. Many parts of the country have set off the construction wave of mountain tourist and recreational resort. But compared with the full swing of the business community, academic research is relative lack of. There hasn’t had a uniform evaluation standard for mountain tourist and recreational resort, giving effective guidance to the actual development.Firstly, on the basis of summing up the research advances on the mountain tourist and recreational resort, this paper summarizes the development of mountain tourist and leisure, expounds the meaning of mountain tourist and recreational resort, and analyzes its characteristics. And then it makes a summary on the evaluation system of tourism resources and leisure city.Secondly, on the basis of analysis of the evaluation system of tourism resources and leisure city, selecting31indicators from the nine factors of food, lodging, travel, shopping, entertainment, destination image, infrastructure, management and services, this paper builds the evaluation index system of mountain tourist and recreational resort. Then it uses methods of Delphi and AHP to determine the weight of indexes to establish the evaluation model of mountain tourist and recreational resort.Then, the paper take Jigongshan in Xinyang and Emei Mountain in Sichuan for example to do an empirical study, combining the relevant statistical data and expert scoring of two destinations, using evaluation index system and model to calculated the destination factor index and the composite index of this two mountain tourist and recreational resorts. Compared the results with the actual situation, the science, rationality and operability of the evaluation system can be proved.Finally, author makes the summary of the study, and puts forward in the direction of the in-depth study.
