Inventory may maintain normal production, regulate demand-supply balance, cope with fluctuation of the market, but inventory also occupy a very great amount of capital, spend holding cost, conceal problems of company management. Inventory management is to find a good balance between them. In most of enterprises of china, inventory management can’t arouse adequate appreciate, there are many problem with outdated inventory management method and style, which lead to a high inventory cost. The inventory management is becoming a bottleneck to the survival and development of Chinese enterprises.K is a manufacturer of parts for car. Face JIT mode of production of carmakers, the suitable methods of inventory management are applied to approve management of inventory and determine our own competitive advantage.The thesis analyses the problem of finished products warehouse, unfinished products warehouse and raw materials warehouse, come up with corresponding optimization. In view of unreasonablesafety inventory, the integration of CRM and ERP improve timeliness and reliability of customer demand,give proper method. By way of reasonable place of product, use of advanced information system and normalization of man-made management in order to solve ineffective products issue. Face problem of lack of RCCP, method of RCCP formulation is given and a lot of methods of products accounts and daily management of workshop are given. In last, thesis introduces inventory management of raw materials, purchasing management, storing management and supplier management to solve the problem of inventory management of raw materials.Theory of inventory management in this thesis to solve practical problems instead of a pure theoretical and significance of it is also use to other similar enterprises.
