Research On The Demand Of Bicycle Leisure In Changsha

The progress of the society the developed science and technology, makes the conditions of material life improved and enhanced gradually.Outside of work,people also pursue the quality of the life increasingly Gradually,leisure becomes a very important part of public life,the form of leisure activity is also more and more diversified.Bicycle leisure,which is more fitness and environmental protected than other recreational mode,gradually comes into people’s lives in the great cities at home and abroad.In recent years,Changsha hosted the major bicycle competitions,and drived the enthusiasm of bicycle riding to some extent,citizens are also in favor of cycling leisure activities in Changsha. But,various conditions are not mature enough to develop cycling leisure activities in Changsha,and it’s influenced by various objective factors.Bicycle leisure needs further research and development.This paper focused on the research of demand characteristics of bicycle leisure in Changsha,to know the restricting factors on the bicycle leisure, go into the problems of different demographic characteristics for the different demand, in order to summarize demand characteristic of bicycle leisure in Changsha.In the study, used literature research in the former stage, Sums up theory basis of the tourism demand and bicycle research situation and research, based on collecting and sorting out a number of literature, then collect the bicycle leisure information of Changsha citizens by the form of questionnaire, make further data analysis, using the mathematical statistics and spss17.0software.From the survey results, we know that:the bicycle leisure demand characteristic is obvious in Changsha, people generally are in favor of bicycle leisure and intend to riding leisure in various attractions of Changsha.But,in fact the number and frequency of people involved in cycling leisure are very few, and they show big effect by the ten restricting factors involved in the investigation.Among them, the bad weather、 easy to lose bicycle、 no bicycle lanes have more prominent.According to the demographic characteristics,we found there are difference of leisure demand amond Changsha residents,people in different age groups、 different professional、 different salary have different degree of difference for various attractions riding and were influenced in different levels by restriction factors.In the conclusion parts, put forward the corresponding countermeasures,according to the present situation and questions on cycling in leisure:advocate leisure riding、 perfect hardware facilities、 push public rental、 effective security, etc.in order to provide advice and reference for carrying out bicycle leisure activities in Changsha.
