Empirical Research Of Joint-Stock Commercial Bank’s Bill Financing Business Process Reengineering

Globalization and marketization have been become the mainstream of the present world economic development, modern commercial bank, on one hand, need to satisfy the increasingly personalized needs of customers, on the other hand, they should adapt to the fierce market competition and the increasing changes of economic environment. In addition, the internal of commercial Banks is facing the pressure that organization structure is complicated and efficiency of business process is very low.Joint-stock commercial Banks as the main part of China’s banking industry, they have a pivotal status in the banking industry. With the change of the economic situation, all kinds of banks have been set up, which make joint-stock commercial Banks face tougher competition. In order to maintain and consolidate joint-stock commercial bank’s market position, business process reengineering has become a key strategy. In this situation, domestic joint-stock commercial bank’s top task is to study international commercial Banks’ advanced management ideas, and learn the reengineering experience of international commercial bank. By put BPR in to practice, they may improve their own competitiveness.Recent years, bill financing has developed very rapid, so this article will choose it as a research object to study the bill financing business process. Firstly, this paper will do some business processes and commercial banking business process reengineering theory research and have a literature review. Then study some concepts about bill financing and know about bill financing business involved intellectual. I will select Bohai bank’s bill financing as the business process reengineering empirical research samples, give a deep research of it’s bills financing business process, including description and analysis of the current situation.Secondly, this article use the interviews as a main method of empirical research, and choose the related department of Bohai bank’s bill financing business processes to proceed interviews. According to the interviews records and consulting the experts, we are expecting to find out the problem of the existing financing business process.Then I combine the experts’advice with business process reengineering principles to redesign Bohai bank’s bill financing business process. Finally, I will carry out a process validation to test if the redesigned business process is faster than before. This article is suppose to card and redesign Bohai bank’s bill financing business process, and besides, it is expected to come a conclusion that what principles the joint stock commercial Banks in the bill financing business process reengineering should be to improve the efficiency of bill financing business process by above study.
