Research On The Development Mode Selection Of County Tourism Economy

County is a special administrative unit in our country, county tourismdevelopment is under the background of the development of the big tourism and thecounty economic development. It plays a more and more important role in theregional tourism development and in the county economic development. Becausemany aspects of 2861 county in our country are different, their development modeelections are also different. Taking Potter’s "diamond model" as the breakthroughpoint, the text summarizes four types of county tourism economic developmentmodel. It provides the reference for the county tourism economic developmentmodel selection.Firstly, Taking the competitive advantage theory as the core theory, the textsums up "county tourism economy of diamond model" and 10 factors of influencingcounty tourism development. Through the questionnaire survey and the resultsshowed that tourism resources, geographical location, the market demand and countyeconomic basis have high degree influence to county tourism economic developmentmode that can be regarded as the dominating factors, and infrastructure, thegovernment behavior, tourism industry position, the relationship between the countytourism resources and periphery tourism resources, homogeneous scenic areadevelopment conditions, opportunity have relatively low impact to county tourismeconomic development mode that can be treated as auxiliary factors. The dominatingfactors influence county tourism development direction, and auxiliary factorsinfluence county tourism development track.Secondly, through the typical case analysis and the method of questionnaireinvestigation, it sums up the resources driven model, location driven model, marketdriven model and money driven model four main types county tourism economicdevelopment model, and for each model of restricted factors are analyzed. Theresults show that: 1) to the counties that have excellent tourism resources of county,no matter how other conditions, it can choose resources driven development mode.In its development process, it should set a rational tourism developing aim, analysis and contrast homogeneous scenic area development, scientific planning, realizesustainable tourism development. 2) to counties that have location advantage butpoor tourism resources, it can choose location driven development model. In itsdevelopment process, it should emphasis on the infrastructure construction, andabout the surrounding the development of tourism resources characteristics, explorecharacteristics tourism resources, form the comparative advantage. 3) to countiesthat have the market demand conditions advantage but poor tourism resource andpoor location, it can choose market driven development mode. In its developmentprocess, the government should involve the tourism development for investmentpromotion. Through using market mechanism, achieve the aim "domestic" attractingforeign investment "the aim and tourism development goals.4)to counties that havegood economic foundation but poor tourism resources, poor location and poormarket demand, it can choose money driven development model. In its developmentprocess, local residents and the surrounding city residents is its main potentialmarket, tourism products emphasis on leisure, entertainment, the government play animportant role in the tourism development.5) to county that have poor tourismresources, poor location, poor market demand conditions and poor economyfoundation, it should priority to develop industries that have contributed to thecounty economy at this stage, then develop tourism industry.Finally, it use the method of location quotient to quantify each dominatingfactor, and take Liaoning province as an example, choose the right county economicdevelopment model for 44 county.
