After 30 years of development of the reform and opening up, China’s familybusiness has grown into an important force in promoting China’s economic growth.Decades of rapid development demonstrates the advantages of family businesses, butalso exposed to the disadvantage of the family enterprise. With China’s economictransition, social environment is undergoing profound changes, many familybusinesses are facing a transition, that is "second pioneering" the problemsencountered in the transition and the risk is that family businesses can not avoid theproblem of how to overcome barriers, making China the family business to thesuccessful transformation of the theory and government noteworthy research focus.The transformation of the family business, generally only a theoretical transitionfrom family management to the modern corporate system. Possible problems in thetransition process and the risks faced, and how to solve problems and to avoid riskssuch studies, little. Gome Huang and Chen 2010 control of the scramble eventattracted wide public attention. Compete for events of the country the United Statescontrol over the exposure behind the corporate governance issues in the familybusiness in the transition process. In this paper, the events of the country the UnitedStates, the problems encountered in the family business transformation process andthe risks to research and analysis, and strive to provide theoretical support for thesuccessful transformation of our family business.This article is divided into five chapters: The first chapter discusses the researchbackground, research questions, and describes the research methods and research; Thesecond chapter is the theoretical basis of evolution theory, from the family business,"commissioned agent" theory and corporate governance theory The family businesstransformation for analysis. Third chapter on the family business transition, theempirical analysis to study the case of GOME stake in the dispute, how to solve theproblems encountered in the family business transformation process, which is thefocus of this study; Chapter for this study lay the foundation; the comparative analysisof the restructuring and development of the U.S. Ford and Toyota in Japan, to drawthe lessons of our family business in transition; Chapter for the policyrecommendations from the company and the government two perspectives on thetransformation of our family business.
