Railway material supply is the guarantee of railway transport production. Its process existed in the areas of circulation, also affect the process of production, with a characteristics of a long line and many points, a larger span, a complex circulation path, huge network system. So management difficulty is higher..For a long time, Chinese railway lays emphasis on external transport and ignores the internal supply logistics, resulting in internal logistics management level is relatively backward. In the existing railway materials supply network operation flow, material conditions of demand and need must implement a report one by one from beginning of the basic stations. Through the examination and approval by higher department, according to the number and kinds of materials, to determine purchase and supply way. Due to the lack of effective collaborative communication between each other factory, and it is difficult to carry out the unit materials supply on the condition that there are many different needs at the same time, therefore cause an unhealthy phenomenon that allocation efficiency of resources and the logistics capability is lower.With the depth of the development of the railway by leaps and bounds, and organizational management mode change, the railway transport enterprises began to explore the management model to adapt to the development requirements of market economy. Many experts and scholars at home and abroad bring modern logistics concepts into to the railway material supply field, began to study and explore ways to optimize the railway internal material supply chain.Based on the railway materials supply network as the research object, the article describes the present operation situation and disadvantages of the railway supply network from the network perspective, analyzed the internal and external reasons and feasibility of synergy, pointing the necessity and urgency of coordination, and puts forward the principle and implementation direction of collaborative operation, this paper expounds the essence of the cooperative material supply network, it is the synergy of resources and logistics capability. Then, put forward the synergy degree measure model of the railway materials supply network, taking Beijing Railway Station as an example, analyzes the synergy conditions of the sub-networks of purchase, storage, distribution, production from1999to2009. Then uses the index output results to complete a horizontal and vertical contrast, analysis the reason of the situation, and finds out the bottleneck problems that restricted the coordinated development of supply and demand. Finally, put forward the collaborative optimization strategies of railway materials supply network, separately from strengthening centralized purchasing, perfecting the nets inventory, expanding the cooperative distribution and carrying on intensive management, in order to improve the supply process.
