Research On Supply Chain Performance Evaluation Of Fresh Agricultural Products

Nowadays, fresh vegetables, fruit and meat have become indispensable products in our life, when shopping in a supermarket, people are used to buying some fresh food in front of fresh counter. Yet hiding from the fresh goods in the supermarket, it refers to many aspects of fresh agricultural product such as picking, fresh, packing, transportation and so on. Because fresh agricultural products are perishable and difficult to store, during transportation and storage they are often damaged and unable to achieve its value function for all kinds of reasons. so that the enterprises participated in it have to undertake some market risk.In order to achieve and increase its value, and reduce market risks, the enterprises participated in the fresh agricultural product supply chain pay attention to supply chain and its management model. They try to use the minimal cost to optimize the process from producing to meet customers’ demand. Supply chain performance evaluation (SCPE) is used to evaluate and assess the benefit and effect of supply chain implementation, which is one of the key components of supply chain management. Building a completed set of fresh agricultural product supply chain performance evaluation metrics is conducive to assess the competitiveness of fresh agricultural product supply chain member enterprises as well as the advantages and shortages of supply chain management, besides it also can provide a scientific basis for supply chain performance improvement.This paper makes some research on fresh agricultural supply chain performance evaluation as follows:Based on the profound understanding of supply chain management and performance evaluation theory,it analyses the features of the fresh agricultural supply chain, aiming at the features of fresh agricultural products supply chain such as high security and high efficiency and from the system perspective, it established a fresh agricultural supply chain performance evaluation system, and it can relatively accurately reflect the supply chain operation from many aspects by the way of combining the quantitative and qualitative index. It processes qualitative indexes with grey system theory to calculate gray assessment weight and processes quantitative indexes with fuzzy mathematics method to calculate the degree of membership, and finally through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation that combines the grey assessment weight and the degree of membership to unify the fresh agricultural supply chain performance evaluation. Through empirical analysis combine the theory with practice, using the fresh agricultural product supply chain performance evaluation index that have been constructed to guide enterprises operation in the supply chain can make the enterprise understand the defects of the supply chain operation better, so that they can take corrective measures that are helpful for the development of the enterprises.
