Wire and cable industry is a basic industry of national economy, today’s development is faced with so many competing, and the meantime it also faced with a lot of opportunities, so, the cable company’s sales staff is one of the essential elements, how to create an efficient, stable, competitive force sales team, is the key to gain competitive, on the other hand, how to use sales staff appraisal system best to supply more effectively motivate sales staff the company’s salesman, for achieving the sales goal, taking higher market share, that of course is a problem for each cable company. They affect the overall performance and profitability. Therefore, the sales team’s performance appraisal is the key to performance management, and perform evaluation index system and determines the success or failure of performance appraisal.In this paper, we use Kunming Cable Group Co., Ltd. as a examination, based the sales staff assessment methods, and we take investigation to the sales staff by interviews, pointed out inadequacies of assessment methods, we refer to the other two companies in the same industry’s assessment program, and we use more reasonable assessment tools, introduce 360-degree assessment and KPI assessment, etc., proposed to improve the program, and further refine the group’s sales staff assessment methods, Including for sales staff, regional manager, sales support, sales-related personnel in different positions of the KIP rating rules, and on the team-building goals, the team made a corresponde assessment program,and build a incentive system that adapt Group Co.,Ltd. Kunming.
