In recent years,shipbuilding industry is developing rapidly in China,and shipbuildingoutput has grown rapidly.Pipe workshop is an important part of the shipbuildinglogistics network,a large ship manufacturing needs thousands of pipes supportingproduction,pipe workshop’s production schedule will affect the production cycle of thewhole ship.Rational planning of the pipe workshop logistics System is an effectivemeans that achieve to shorten the shipbuilding time.In this paper,with the CQshipbuilding.Enterprise as the background,present that solve confusing,logisticsroutescomplex,logistics reflow phenomenon and more of the pipe workshop logisticssystem from multiple perspectives and quantitative, and use simulation technology toprovide an effective solution for production logistics systems constructed through thelogistics system construction and real-time analysis of the performance of the logisticsprogram.In this paper, summarazed the production logistics concept of the pipe workshop,analyzed the type of the logistics system and the characteristics of the system,based on alarge number of reading the domestic&forergn literature and research background tothe actual business.Proposed the optimization and simulation needs of the productionlogistics system in pipe workshop.In logistics system optimization process,analysied the optimization methods of theproduction process,layout planning and handling system,and optimizated the productionlogistics of CQ shipbuilding enterprise.On the optimization of the productionprocess:1)Reached that use the branch and bound method to solve pipe cuttingoptimization problem,proposed that use the speciflcation of the pipe large-scale cuttingmethod to improve the utilization of raw materials,and described the specific processshould be used in this method of cutting.2) Reached the method of use the grouptechnology to improve the workshop machining processes, proposed that according tothe principle of the process grouping to divide the assembly area into single-tubeassembly line and multiple tube assembly line,to reduce materials backflow,based onthe needs of the plant. On layout planning,analysed the layout planning methods andmain analysis indicators,designed the space layout as SLP(Systematic Layout Planning)of CQ enterprise,and used logistics moment to choose the best program.On materialhandling systems optimization, proposed that use basic IE methods and tools to make improvement in handing system of pipe workshop,and optimized handling logisticssystem of the assembly area in CQ enterprise.In simulation research on logistics system of pipe processing workshop inshipbuilding enterprises prosess,first researched mthod of simulation on logistics of pipeworkshop,proposed how to build pipe workshop logistics system simulationmodel,secondly used Arena simulation software to build simulation models before andafter the improement of the logistics of the CQ pipe workshop.At last, on improvement evaluation of pipe workshop logistics based on simulationprocess,use simulation models to statistics and monitor the anerage WIP&resourceutilization&material handling distance of the system before and after optimized,andanalysed the total production, the resource utilization, the average amount of products,the logistics moment, and the average product life cycle,to prove that the necessity andeffectiveness to optimize the logistics system of pipe workshop.The method and results from the study of logistics system could provide asounding validity support for optimization and simulationin in pipe workshop,meanwhile, the method could provide reference for other similar workshop.
