As the development of the society and economy, more and more scholars begin toresearch the management theory and philosophy of East, golden-mean thinking is themost prominent thinking in most Chinese’ mind and prevalent in the Organizations.Golden-mean thinking emphasizes balance, avoids the extremes and timely adjusts thestrategies base on the situation, which emphasis on harmony but does not mean that toavoid the conflicts; the concepts of Golden-mean thinking have strong reference tomodern management.Harmony is today’s mainstream thinking and the theme of the times, but until todaylittle research on organizational harmony. This study base on the previous researchesand Combined with the concept of golden-mean thinking, which is a indigenouspsychology concept, research the relationship between golden-mean thinking,organizational harmony and employee performance, Proposed the mechanism modelamong three variables. On the basis of date from426valid questionnaires of differententerprises in Chongqing, Guangxi, Guangdong, Shanghai, explored the way ofgolden-mean thinking effects on employee performance. The study explored theMechanism of golden-mean thinking and employee performance from the perspectiveof the cognitive bias, behavioral deviations, and organizational harmony. The study tookgolden-mean thinking as independent variables, summarized and defined on the basis ofits concept, proved the mechanism among golden-mean thinking, organizationalharmony, employee performance and cognitive biases and behavioral deviations, At last,the study collect the data from enterprises to validate the assumptions.The Study showed that: Golden-mean thinking has significant positive impact onorganizational harmony and employee performance; Organizational harmony plays apart of the intermediary role; cognitive biases and behavioral deviation has significantnegative impact on organizational harmony but does not have direct impact onemployee performance, some of the characteristic variables of the employees have asignificant impact on these variables.
