Application Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Project-oriented Enterprises Knowledge Management

Since the beginning of the21st century, with the development of scientific andtechnological progress and productivity, competition is increasing among enterpriseswhich engaged in a fierce market and scramble for resources worldwide. In order todeal with complex and competitive market environment, improve the competitivenessof enterprises, knowledge has been concerned in enterprise as a scarce resource. Howto tap and make use of knowledge effectively in the enterprise has becoming importantissues of knowledge management.Thus the implementation of knowledgemanagement within the enterprise becomes an inevitable trend.With the more concern of science and technology, knowledge-intensiveenterprises have emerged, and project-oriented enterprises appear also more and more,such as for the project-oriented enterprise defined in this paper. The representatives ofsuch enterprises are high-tech manufacturing enterprises which is generated underconditions of the new knowledge and technologies. And the organization and operationof these enterprises are also driven around the project. The changes of organizationalstructure and operation mode also brought a corresponding change in knowledgemanagement. In this paper, we study the knowledge management in high-techenterprises, belonging to the project-oriented enterprises, and choose a means ofevaluating performance of knowledge management,in order to attain the research aimof promoting knowledge management and its effective application in such enterprises.First, we analyse the reality necessity of the knowledge management research inproject-oriented enterprise research,which is based on the former literature ondomestic and foreign enterprises. As a following, we make a detailed analysis of theprocess of knowledge managementa and arise the project-driven approach of thosebusinesses in this kind of high-tech manufacturing, and study the operating mechanismand processes of knowledge management used commonly in the way of project-drivenapproach, and discuss the specific implementation of knowledge management from the organizational level, technical level and system level. Then, in order to promote, aswell as guidance and supervision,the implementation of enterprise knowledgemanagement, we build a three classes index system of knowledge management inproject-oriented enterprise,which is based on the implementation of knowledgemanagement process analysis, and make a comprehensive evaluation of theimplementation effect of knowledge management by selection of multi-level fuzzyfynthetic evaluation method and formulate the evaluation step. Finally, we haveverified the theoretical framework of this articlein on the basis of the case of theknowledge management implementation and performance evaluation of HGCompany—a high-tech enterprises in Wuhan, and make the research conclusions andprospects.
