The Dissertation is mainly concentrated on what American experiences to solve thefood problems can be learnt by China for his own food problem-solving. This thesisis composed of three sections to use American experiences as a source of referencefor China. The introduction for essay is the exordium of the whole dissertation,introducing the purpose, the significance, literature review and the fundamentalresearch methods of this dissertation. The first section discusses the status quota ofAmerican food safety, the reasons for those food problems and the methods to tacklethem. The second section focuses on the Chinese food safety troubles. In this section,those troubles are grouped into five categories. Meanwhile, the reasons why Chinahas these problems and the flaws on resolving these problems are displayed in thispart. The final section has indicated the similarities of the actions towards the foodsafety problems between China and USA, which are legislations, supervisions andmedia. Besides, the utmost points are illustrated in this part that the Americanexperiences are exposed to China for his references. This section mainly explains theconsumers’ supervision rights, the talents, the perfect laws and regulations and theinspection and quarantine system in order to learn and utilize American experiencesover this matter.
