With the development of economic globalization and knowledge era, knowledgehas become the most important strategic resource and the source of sustainablecompetitive advantage of MNCs (Multinational Company). Knowledge transfer hasbecome a hot issue discussed by relevant scholars and business operators. More andmore MNCs recognize that, with the rapid growth of the number of subsidiaries andthe improvement of subsidiaries’ status, knowledge transfer between subsidiaries isthe key to enhance their competitiveness. As China’s political, economic, cultural andscientific center, Beijing has been a hot investment by MNCs and the knowledgetransfer between subsidiaries is more frequent and mature. So it has importanttheoretical and practical significance to study the knowledge transfer betweensubsidiaries of MNCs in Beijing.The method of the study is mainly united theory analysis with demonstrationresearch, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. Firstly, the papersummarizes the relevant literature about knowledge transfer and the subsidiaries of MNCs.Then the paper summarizes some classical models of the knowledge transfer and theaffect factor about subsidiaries of MNCs. On these foundations, the paper uses theknowledge transfer between subsidiaries of MNCs in Beijing as the main researchobject to research the mechanism of knowledge transfer, then constructs an affectfactor model and proposes a scientific hypothesis. By using relevant research data ofsubsidiaries of MNCs in Beijing, the author carries on statistical test throughdemonstration research and finally obtains the conclusion.
